Admission Requirements
Admission requirements include:
- A completed Master’s degree (MSc degree or higher), preferably in natural sciences or engineering (including mathematics, architecture, and medical/life sciences). Professionals with a university degree in another area should have substantial professional experience in a setting that strongly relates to science and technology issues;
- A strong interest in public policy;
- At least three years of professional work experience.
For more information, please check the Participant Profile or get in touch with the TPP Programme Manager.
Highly qualified applicants who do not hold a Master's degree may be admitted in exceptional cases if they can demonstrate that they have the appropriate professional background and additional qualifications in the required fields (please refer to the admission information by the School for Continuing Education).
The teaching and examination language is English. Therefore, participants need to be proficient in English both written and verbal (Level C1 or even C2 of the external page Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Participants do not need to prove their command of English. It is their responsibility to possess such a level of English proficiency in order to be able to follow and pass the classes.
Admission Review Process
- The School for Continuing Education reviews all applications for completeness and formal criteria.
- The TPP Programme Leadership assesses all applications and a request for admission or rejection is sent to the School for Continuing Education. Please note that the application process is competitive. This means that the submission of an application does not guarantee admission to the programme.
- The School for Continuing Education will notify each applicant of the final decision – typically around four to six weeks after having received the application.
