How to Apply

This section will guide you through your application for the TPP programme. Please make sure to check the admission requirements, the programme fees, and the current course dates beforehand.

The application process for the TPP programme is administered by ETH's School for Continuing Education (SCE). The SCE will be able to address all technical questions and will organise the admissions and matriculation process.

Apply now!

The next edition of the CAS TPP: Policy Process or the MAS in Technology and Public Policy starts in January 2025. The application window will be open from August 15, 2024 to November 15, 2024. Application dossiers can be prepared ahead of this deadline.

Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and places distributed based on eligibility (see the admission review process). The number of places in the TPP programme is limited, therefore applying early is recommended. When all the available places are allocated, applicants will be put on a waiting list.

Hand in Your Application

Apply here and refer to the application procedure outlined in order to hand in your application. Please thoroughly read and go through all seven steps (below the second grey box, using the 'Apply here' link above). You submit your application via the eApply platform, which is linked at the top of said page as well as in step 3.

You will be asked to upload the following regular as well as TPP-specific documents:

  • Copy of diploma certificate and transcript (of records) and diploma supplement
  • Copy of passport or identity card
  • Completed and signed consent form
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Motivation letter (max. one page)

Please note that the application process is competitive. This means that the submission of an application does not guarantee admission to the programme.

Also note that the application deadline is strict. Therefore, the whole application process needs to be finished by latest at 11:59pm (23:59) on the last day of the application round.
