TPP Programme Launched and Live
The continuing education programme in Technology and Public Policy (TPP) was launched and went live mid-April 2020. It consists of two Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) degrees, and the first CAS TPP starts in January 2021.

We are delighted to announce that with the ETH Executive Board's approval and the go-live of our homepage the TPP programme was officially launched in April 2020. Thanks to all the ISTP members and staff, the ETH-internal partners and the stakeholders met in the conceptual phase of the programme who made this possible.
You can find all the programme information on this homepage. If you have any questions, please reach out to the TPP Programme Manager Nicolas Solenthaler. The Programme Directors are Prof. Thomas Bernauer and Prof. Tobias Schmidt (Deputy).
The TPP programme is offered by the Institute of Science, Technology and Policy (ISTP). It is structured modularly so as to best suit the backgrounds, interests, aims and needs of the participants. The programme consists of two Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) degrees in Technology and Public Policy (TPP) (15 ECTS each).

The CAS TPP: Policy Process focuses on how to systematically analyze, design and manage policy-making processes (Input-Output dimension). The CAS TPP: Impact Analysis focuses on how to assess policy options in terms of their expected effects, in order to identify appropriate policy designs; and to evaluate the implications of implemented policies so as to be able to adapt them where needed (Output-Outcome dimension). Each of the two CAS can be taken separately and via part-time study within one semester. The teaching language is English.
Applications for both CAS open on May 15, 2020, with the first 'CAS TPP: Policy Process' starting in January 2021. We are looking forward to starting classes next year and would like to thank all the (guest) lecturers for their participation.
